Money moron

Why is it that I have some sort of phobia about transferring cash from savings to checking whenever I need to? I'll write a check and wait until last minute to transfer the cash. By then I'm overdrawn and I have to fork over extra money for fees. Not every time, but too often. It's some sort of disease. I have no idea why I do that.
